Talent Showcase f/ guest artist Arnett Howard
+ the debut of the All People A Capella Singers



Arnett Howard is one of Columbus's most visible and respected musicians. He spent nearly twenty years as the leader of the "Creole Funk Band" and has more than ten albums in his personal discography.

All People Arts is midway through our '09/'10 season of free vocal and instrumental lessons, open mics and talent showcases. Our program is open to all ages and all levels of experience.

We are in session Mondays 7-8:30 at the UM Free Store
946 Parsons Avenue.

1st Mondays - Talent Showcase
2nd Mondays - Rehearsal
3rd Mondays - Rehearsal
4th Mondays - Group Lessons
(5th Mondays - variable).

This year our talented faculty includes:

Eileen Howard - A professional singer, and a fixture on the local jazz scene, Eileen is also the Minister of Music at the UM Church For All People. Eileen is entering her fourth year as our vocal coach.

David Boyd - David is an organist and choir director for Good Shepherd Baptist Church, and a talented and soulful musician. David is starting his second year as our choral coach.

Yen Lee - Yen is a classically trained pianist, violinist and guitarist, joining us for the first time.

Ryan & Katelin Hansen - Ryan is a singer with a background in a capella and choral singing, and Katelin is a highly trained Opera singer. We are very glad to welcome them to our faculty.

Wes Cantwell - Wes is one of the brightest stars in Fort Hayes' famous instrumental music program, and is joining us as an instructor in drums and guitar.
