AGE REQUIREMENTS: You must be over 19 
(OR a member of the military 
OR 18 and a member of an already graduated high school class 
OR 18 with written permission from school superintendent 
OR 16 with written approval from parent or guardian 
AND school superintendent)

RETAKES: You can take the test up to three times a year.

COSTS:
• The test is FREE if you take the Practice GED first.  
  Otherwise, the cost is $55.  
• For transcripts (proof of scores), you must have $10 in exact cash.
