Hero For Christ ![]() Barack Obama | Judge Not and ForgiveThe Lords Prayer - Matthew 6:9-13 (Luke 11:2-4) Our Father which is in heaven, hallowed be your name. Your kingdom come, your will be done, on earth, as it is in heaven. Give us this day our daily bread, and forgive our sins, as we forgive those who are in our debt. And lead us not into temptation, but deliver us from evil: For yours is the kingdom, and the power, and the glory, for ever. Amen. Matthew 6:14-15 (Mark 11:25-26) For if you forgive men their trespasses, your heavenly Father will also forgive you. But if you do not forgive men their trespasses, neither will your Father forgive yours. Luke 6:36-38 (Matthew 7:1-2) Be merciful, as your Father in heaven is merciful. Judge not, and you will not be judged. Do not condemn, and you shall not be condemned. Forgive, and you shall be forgiven. Give, and it shall be given to you; a good measure, pressed down, shaken together, and running over, shall be poured into your lap. For you will be judged by your own judgment and measured by your own measurement. Matthew 18:21-35 Then Peter came to him, and said: Lord, how often shall I forgive my brother who sins against me? Seven times? Jesus said: Not seven times, but seventy times seven times. For the kingdom of heaven is like a king who took account of his servants. And when he had begun to reckon, one was brought to him who owed ten thousand talents. But since he had no money, the king commanded that he, his wife and his children all be sold to provide payment. The servant, therefore, fell down before him, saying: Lord, have patience with me, and I will pay you all that I owe. Then the king was moved by compassion, and forgave him all his debts. But the same servant went out and found a fellow servant who owed him a hundred pennies, and grabbed him roughly by the throat, saying: Pay me what you owe me. And his fellow servant fell down at his feet, and said: Have patience with me, and I will pay you all that I owe. But the first servant would not, but cast his fellow servant into prison, until the debt should be paid. When the other servants saw what was done, they were distressed, and came and told the king. Then the king called the servant and said to him: Oh wicked servant, I forgave you all your debts because you asked. Should you not have also had compassion on your fellow servant, even as I had pity on you? And the king was angry and delivered him to be tormented until his debts were paid. So too will my Father in heaven do to you if you do not from your heart forgive each of your brothers their trespasses. The Log and the Speck - Matthew 7:3-5 (Luke 6:41-42) Why do you see the speck in your brothers eye, but not the log in your own? And how can you say to your brother Let me pull out that speck, when all the time a log is in your own. You hypocrite, first cast the log out of your own eye, and then you will be able to see clearly to cast the speck out of your brothers. ![]() Top ![]() Back ![]() Next |
