Hero For Christ ![]() Barack Obama | The Signs of JesusJohn 2:18-21 Then the Jews said: What sign will you show us, given that you have done these things? Jesus answered: Destroy this temple, and in three days I will raise it up. Then the Jews said: It took forty-six years to build this temple, and you will raise it up in three days? But Jesus spoke rather of the temple of his body. The Sign of Nineveh - Luke 11:29-32 (Matthew 12:38-42 , see also Matthew 16:4) This is an evil generation, they seek a sign; but no sign shall be given them but the sign of the prophet Jonah. For as Jonah was a sign to the Ninevites, so shall the Son of Man be a sign to this generation. The queen of the south shall rise up in the judgment with the men of this generation, and condemn them: for she came from the utmost parts of the earth to hear the wisdom of Solomon; and, behold, a greater than Solomon is here. The men of Nineveh shall rise in judgment with this generation, and shall condemn it: because they repented at the preaching of Jonah; and, behold, a greater than Jonah is here. John 20:26 Eight days later his disciples, including Thomas, were inside with the doors shut. Then Jesus came and stood among them and said: Peace be unto you. Then he said to Thomas: Reach out your finger, and behold my hands, and reach out your hand, and thrust it into my side, and do not be faithless, but believe. And Thomas answered: My LORD and my God. Jesus said to him: Thomas, because you have seen me, you have believed, but blessed are they that have not seen, and yet have believed. ![]() Top ![]() Back ![]() Next |
