Matthew 4:18-22 ( Mark 1:16-20, Luke 5:1-11)

As Jesus walked by the sea of Galilee, he saw Simon called “Peter”, and his brother Andrew, casting a net into the sea: for they were fishermen. And he said to them: “Follow me, and I will make you fishers of men.” And they immediately left their nets, and followed him.

And going on from there, he saw two other brothers, James and John the sons of Zebedee, in a ship with their father, mending their nets, and he called them. And they immediately left the ship and their father, and followed him.



Matthew 11:28

Come unto me, all that work and carry heavy burdens, and I will give you rest. Take my yoke upon you, and learn of me; for I am meek and humble in heart: and you shall find rest for your souls. For my yoke is easy, and my burden is light.



Mark 3:13-15 (Matthew 10:1)
