Hero For Christ ![]() Barack Obama | Starving EvilEvery evil of the world is a failed attempt at some good. If this were not the case, the evils of the world would fade away by themselves, for there are few people who knowingly aim to produce evil, at least as compared to the many who attempt to produce good and fail. The correct way to combat any evil, therefore, is first to identify the good it contains or promises, and next to find some alternate way of satisfying that same need. This is the equivalent of emptying a lake by cutting off its source of water, or conversely, of weakening a creature by cutting off its supply of food. |
